In Memory of Maarten van Zutphen

Dear RIN friends,

It is with great sadness and disbelief that we must inform you that our dear colleague, business partner and friend, Maarten van Zutphen suddenly passed away. Maarten was 62 years old. 

Maarten joined RIN in 2022 to help growing the organization to keep adding value to the professionals of the global mobility industry. Joining me in leadership and creating a long term strategy in an ever changing global landscape. He joined from his consultancy company Cani Consultancy, which he started after a long career in the international moving industry were he was working for some of the leading Dutch companies. Maarten was active in sharing his knowledge with the next generation and was a passionate ambassador of the global relocation industry. 

Thinking back with great memories of Maarten, we will remember how committed he was to the industry, his sense of humor, his warm personality, and the way he could smile wholeheartedly. His loss leaves a tremendous void and he would want us to live life in the spirit that he lived life. 

Our thoughts are with his children, his family members and all of his many friends around the world.
